Punjab: RSS leader shot dead in Ludhiana

As per the recent reported, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Ravinder Gosai was shot dead near his house in Ludhiana on Tuesday morning.

The incident took place at around 7.20am on Tuesday morning.

It was reported the RSS leader Ravinder Gosai was allegedly shot by unidentified men outside his residence near Basti Jodhewal area.

Sources told the police, the incident took place at the time when the RSS leader Ravinder step out of his home with his pet dog in the morning.

The unidentified men came on a bike where they pumped two bullets on Ravinder’s neck.

The 58-year-old RSS leader Ravinder Gosai died on the spot.

After committing the crime the assailants fled from the area.

RSS leader Ravinder Gosain was the chief of Raghunath Nagar Shakha of RSS in Ludhiana.

It was learned that Ravinder Gosai was head of Raghunath Nagar Mohan Shakha area.  He was also the office bearer of district Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The police officials are investigating into the matter.

This was not the first incident where RSS leader was targeted. Previously, Jagdish Gagneja who was the in-charge of Punjab RSS was shot dead in Jalandhar in the year 2016.
