Rahul Gandhi told Congress workers, you are different, you fought anger with dignity

The verdict has been announced and BJP ruled the Gujarat and Congress faced the defeat in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.

Following the verdict, Congress President Rahul Gandhi told his workers “fought anger with dignity” and praised his party workers for campaigning “decently”.

Soon after the verdict, Rahul Gandhi believed that BJP played dirty in the elections.

But at the same time, Congress President Rahul Gandhi congratulated the ‘new governments’ in both the states.

Rahul Gandhi moved to twitter and wrote: “The Congress party accepts the verdict of the people and congratulates the new governments in both states. I thank the people of Gujarat and Himachal with all my heart for the love they showed me”.

It was observed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a victory sign to celebrate his party’s victory in his hometown.

Adding further to this, he wrote: “My Congress brothers and sisters, you have made me very proud. You are different than those you fought because you fought anger with dignity. You have demonstrated to everyone that the Congress’s greatest strength is its decency and courage”.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a statement, “I salute the hardworking BJP karyakartas (workers) in these states for their hard work which has led to these impressive victories”.
