Rahul may take over as Congress chief soon says, Sonia Gandhi

Congress President Sonia Gandhi said on Friday, her son and Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi will soon take over as the party chief.

On Friday, the Congress president Sonia Gandhi has allegedly hinted that the family legacy and India’s old party will be taken forward by Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi.

While giving an interview to a news channel, Sonia Gandhi said, “You have been asking this for so many years and it’s now happening”.

Meanwhile, the Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi refused to discuss the issue.

It was reported that Sonia Gandhi became the party chief in the year 1998.

It was learned that the huge demand within the party was coming that Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi should take charge as the president of the Indian National Congress.

Sources said that it is expected that Rahul is expected to be elected as president’s post soon.

The internal elections within the party are yet to be begun.

It was discovered that the party will commence the elections by October 25.
