Rajasthan: 15-year-old minor gang-raped and left to dead

Another alarming incident of molestation and gang rape has been witnessed again after the horrifying incident of Nirbhaya gang rape took place in the capital of the country.

A 15-year-old minor girl in Churu district of Rajasthan was not just gang-raped, but also ran over running bike with the aim to kill the minor.

The incident took place on the Christmas Eve around 3:30 am when the girl was first abducted from her house by the owner of the school and then the girl was gang-raped by the owner of the school along with his relative. In the wake of completing the shocking attempt, they severely beat her up and even ran a bike over her trying to murder her.

The girl is admitted in Jaipur’s Sawai Man Singh Hospital where she suffered the serious injuries leading to backbone fracture and injury in her eyes.

The accused Rakesh Bhargav who runs a Bright Lights Children Academy entered into the house of that  girl and forcefully took her away to a spot around 2 Km from the village and raped her.

Although, the accused has been arrested and a FIR has been registered by the police against the two men under sections – 366 A, 457, 321, 323, 376 A and under Section 4 of the POCSO Act.

Dr. Mrinal Joshi of SMS Hospital said that, “There was an injury to her spine, so she has paraplegia, which means the lower portion of her body has been paralyzed”. Adding further to this she said, “She has no control over bowel or bladder movements. She’s out of danger and stable, but the injury is serious and will take the time to heal”.

Hanuman Bhati, a Senior police officer, said that, “We can only determine the motive after an interrogation”.
