Presidential Election 2017: Ram Nath Kovind Wins the race, becomes 14th President Of India

In the race of becoming 14th President Of India, Ram Nath Kovind has successfully come with flying colors. As Kovind reportedly got 7,02,044 votes out of a total of 10,69,358.

The NDA candidate Ram Nath Kovind who stood up against UPA rival Meira Kumar has won the presidential election on Thursday.

It was learnt that before contesting the Presidential Election, Ram Nath Kovind served as the governor of Bihar.

Home minister Rajnath Singh moved to twitter to wish the newly elected President of India and tweeted, “Congratulations to Shri Ram Nath Kovind ji on his successful election as the President of India. I wish him success and a great future”.
