Ryan International school: CBI arrests class XI student for killing Pradyuman

In a recent development, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) reportedly detained at a Class XI student who allegedly killed the seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur in Gurugram.

The CBI said a Class 11 student who is now considered as the main suspect in connection with the murder of the seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur inside the premises of Ryan International school.

CBI spokesperson Abhishek Dayal said in a statement, “The weapon used in the commission of a crime is a knife which was recovered initially by police in Gurugram (Haryana). It is now with us”.

The CBI spokesperson said that the boy was arrested after inspection of the crime spot, scrutiny of CCTV footage, call records, statements, and questioning of several people was discovered that he entered the school premises carrying a knife inside his bag to kill his junior schoolmate.

Following the murder of the seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took the case from the Haryana Police on September 22.

The seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur was found inside the school bathroom with his throat slit.

Previously, Haryana Police alleged the school bus conductor Ashok Kumar in connection with the murder case.
