Separatist leader Yasin Malik assaults woman journalist

In a sudden outburst, it was discovered that Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front chief and separatist leader Yasin Malik have allegedly attacked the prominent news channel reporter when visited his house for taking his byte over the current Kashmir issue.

The National Investigation Agency has filed a preliminary inquiry into the funding of the Hurriyat leaders, including S A S Geelani, Naeem Khan among others.

It was reported that the news channel aired a video in which Naeem Khan was caught admitting that Pakistan is funding the ongoing violence in the Kashmir valley.

After the video was aired on the channel, Naeem Khan went down to the news channel office in Srinagar and threatened the reporter.

It was learnt that the news reporter went to the residence of the JKLF chief Yasin Malik, where the reporter rang the bell and was called inside the house. When asked about the appointment the news reporter told the leader that they can wait outside till then he gets free.

However, Malik agreed to talk to the reporter, when the journalist raised a question on the current issue going in the Kashmir valley, Yasin Malik lost his tempered and assaulted the journalist, the camera person and broke the phone.

NIA probes the matter

Following this, the NIA team along with senior members has reached Srinagar to investigate the funding of the Hurriyat leaders.
