Supreme Court to hear Appeal regarding Delhi’s Pollution

As haze choked Capital and National capital region , the Supreme Court of India decided to hear appeal file on Tuesday regarding smog and pollution by endeavoring proper monitoring of air quality  in Delhi-NCR.

There are numbers of a plea, petitions are filed by people. Supreme Court wants the presence of advocates representing the State and Central Government along with administrative officials. As the city is suffering from environment crises from past few days , which is affecting lives of millions of people as they are witnessing suffocating , stifling , irritation in eyes , other respiratory diseases etc., which led to carry an effective emergency public health measures to curb this fierce situation.

City and National capital regions  continued to suffer from severe air  quality on Monday too but , however, there was a reduction of haze cover were seen comparatively from last 2-3 days. Some people are still not realizing the fact of this massive issue, still, stalls of crackers were seen , people  were burning crackers during Chhat Puja.

According to the private weather forecaster, Skymet said strong winds are expected from the northwest  in next 24 -48 hours which would help in improving air quality. Even though Meteorological Department of India , also predicted that air quality will improve in two-three days. So let’s see what decision the supreme court will take in reining this situation.
