Three Army officials were killed in cross fire shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Machhal region of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
It is reported as a second incident where soldier’s body was mutilated in less than a month time. The first incident happened on 28th October.
According to a senior Army officer: “A counter-infiltration patrol party of Indian army was ambushed by terrorists ahead of the fencing along LoC in forest belt in Machhal sector in Kupwara district”.
Three soldiers were killed in the attack where one of the bodies of the soldier was mutilated, he added.
While reacting on this confrontation the Army said the “retribution will be heavy” for this weak attempt.
