A TV Journalist was allegedly beaten up by the eight strangers on Wednesday morning, receives the injuries in head and neck.
A Railway official confirmed that a TV Journalist, who is identified as Sudhir Shukla working in the India TV news channel was beaten up by some passengers who were traveling on the same train.
Shukla informed police that while boarding the train in the morning from Mira Road to Andheri he was stopped by some passengers standing at the entry gate of the train and asked him to not enter inside the train as there is no seat but anyhow he tried to manage the space and entered inside the train.
After entering into the train, the passengers started arguing with Shukla and assaulted him physically in the moving train after which Shukla receives injuries on his head and neck. Shukla tried to take the pictures of the accused, but one of them snatched his phone.
Officials also added Shukla was admitted to the hospital in Andheri where he declared out of danger by the doctors.
The Police has registered the case against the accused, while, on the other hand, Mumbai various journalists condemned the incident and asked the police to take strict action against the accused.
