Two boys killed by a speedy train while posing for a selfie on railway track

Two youngsters were allegedly killed by a train while they were caught up busy posing for selfies in front of a train coming towards them on Saturday afternoon.

The incident took place in east Delhi’s Mayur Vihar’s area when seven boys have gone to the railway track to click selfies after their tuition classes.

Police said, “While taking photos, they saw a train heading towards them and moved aside. But another train came from the opposite side, and they were stuck between the two. The victims were hit by one of the trains”.

According to the police, the victims were studying in a same tuition centre and rented a DSLR camera to build a modeling portfolio.

Parvaiz Ahmed, DCP Railways said in a statement, “Preliminary investigations suggest this was an accident and any foul play has been ruled out. We have seized the camera and have also scanned the CCTV footage around the area, which shows the boys entering the railway premises”.
