Two soldiers, 4 militants killed in South Kashmir’s Kulgam District

Seven people including two soldiers, one civilian and four militants killed in a 12-hour gunfight in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Two Militants who were killed in an encounter belongs to Hizbul Mujahideen and two others were associated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). It is also reported that all the militants were the residents of Kulgam.

It’s all started when security forces came to know about the presence of four militants, who were hiding in a house in Nagbal village of Frisal region and launched a search operation in the region.

Following the search operation, hidden Militant openly started firing. In the gunfight, militants killed civilian and two soldiers.

Soldiers who were killed in a gunfight have been identified as Lance Naik Bhandoriya Gopal Singh and Sepoy Raghubeer Singh.

Later, the encounter ended with killing four militants after 12 hours of the gunfight.
