Newly elected Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath surprised cops and officials by visiting Lucknow’s Hazratganj Police Station on Thursday.
Adityanath met police officials and directed them to work sincerely and properly in the office. During the visit he inspected police records, the lock-up facilities and also asked about the working of police force in the state from the officials.
After visiting police station , UP CM said media “I have come here to inspect as to how the rule of law is enforced in the state and gauge the morale of the police, and see what effective action can be taken in this regard”.
He asserted “The rule of law will be established in the state and government will not hesitate in taking whatever steps are required for peoples’ welfare,”
Soon after taking charge as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Adityanath is actively performing and looking at all the activities which are happening in the state.
In a recent move, the priest- turned politician ordered the closure of all illegal slaughterhouses in Uttar Pradesh.
