In a shocking incident, a body of a Rashtriya Swayamsewak Singh (RSS) worker was reportedly found in a sack in Meerut city of Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
Police officials have identified the victim as Sunil Garg, who was also a prominent iron trader.
It was reported that Sunil Garg was last seen on Sunday, while he was campaigning for a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the coming municipal corporation polls.
Sources said that RSS worker Sunil Garg went missing as soon he left for his home on Sunday evening.
Man Singh, Superintendent of Police said in a statement, injuries on the victim’s face inflicted with a sharp weapon.
Following the incident, Garg’s bike was recovered from a parking lot at a hospital.
Police officials have checked the records of the CCTV footage to find the movement of the RSS worker before his death.
