Uttar Pradesh: Man shot for entering Hindon Airbase

In a shocking incident, a 25-year-old was shot as he jumped the wall of the Indian Air Force base in Hindon at Ghaziabad on Tuesday.

The accused was identified as 22-year-old Sujeet, who hails from Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh.

Officials said that Sujeet allegedly tried to enter the air force station on Tuesday.

The incident took place at around 11pm near Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.

Sujeet was warned by the security personnel to stop, as he ignored the warnings, security personnel was shot in the right leg in order to stop him from entering the area.

Following this, he was rushed to the hospital and was given first aid.

While talking to media, Sujeet Kumar  said  “I didn’t have anything to eat and just wanted to sit there, won’t do it again”.

Sujeet said he tried to enter the airbase on Tuesday midnight.

Anoop Singh, Assistant Superintendent of Police said in a statement, “His mobile phone is being screened. Call details are being fetched. A police team is being sent there to get more details”.
