Uttar Pradesh: Teenagers found hanging from tree in Noida

In a shocking incident, two teenage girls were allegedly found hanging from a tree in Noida’s Barola village in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Laxmi, 18, and her sister Nisha, 14 by the police officials.

Police officials told the media, parents alleged that relatives were behind the girl’s death.

Noida SP Arun Kumar Singh said in a statement, “In the initial investigation, it looks like a case of suicide. Although the family has raised doubts on some people, no proof has been found yet. Besides a mark from the noose, no other injury marks can be seen on the bodies of both girls”.

It was reported that the girl’s parents have accused their nephew, Ravi, of killing the girls over a family dispute.

It was learned that Ravi was married but was trying to force the older daughter to marry him.

Deceased parents told the officials, there was an argument which took place where Ravi’s family threatened to cause harm to girls.

Although, the bodies have been sent to the post-mortem.

However, police officials are still investigating the matter.
