Venkaiah Naidu sworn-in as 13th Vice President of India

Former Union Minister and BJP Leader Venkaiah Naidu took oath as Vice-President of India on Friday morning at Durbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan

The swearing-in ceremony was held in the presence of President Ram Nath Kovind. It was observed that the oath ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi including MPs from all the Political parties also the former President of India Pranab Mukherjee.

Venkaiah Naidu visited the Rajghat to pay the floral tribute to the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi.

It was reported that 13th Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu has won with 516 votes.

Although, another candidate Gopalkrishna Gandhi managed to secure 244 votes
