Vijay Rupani took oath as Gujarat Chief Minister after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the assembly elections in the state.
Vijay Rupani took the oath as 16th Chief Minister of Gujarat at the new secretariat in Gandhinagar.
It was reported that the prominent leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and chief ministers of 18 BJP states and other NDA leaders were among those who attended the ceremony.
It was learned that eight cabinet ministers and 10 ministers of state took oath on Monday.
This is the second consecutive term of Vijay Rupani as a chief minister of the state.
