Aishwarya Rai Bachchan honored with ‘Woman of Substance’ title

At an event held in Pune Karnataka’s Bunt community Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was honored ‘Woman of Substance’ title on Saturday.

During the felicitation ceremony, she also inaugurated the Buntera Bhavana.

Aishwarya never fails to stun the audience with her charisma. Be it acting on the stage or just her presence, she adds elegance to all such spaces.

The Ae Dil Hai Muskil actor has become a global icon epitomizing the phrase ‘beauty with the brains’. She is also a mother of a ‘girl’ and ensures to raise ‘Aradhya’ protected from media spotlights.

The charismatic Actor, Aishwarya has won several titles and added yet another to her cap last week. The former Miss World (1994) has represented India at several international platforms over last many years.

Aishwarya is also a recipient of the French Honor (Knight of the order of Arts and Letters) and Padma Shri. She is considered to be one of the most influential celebrities in India.

The actress has always believed in giving back to the society by being associated with a lot of charities like Smile Train Foundation, UNAIDS, CPAA, Polio, Eye Donation, etc.

When it comes to the work-front, the actor is shooting for Fanne Khan which brings her back on screen with actor Anil Kapoor after two decades. They last featured together in a romantic drama ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein in Rehte Hain’ in 1999.
