Megastar Rajinikanth turns 66 today. We wish him a long life, good health, happiness and good luck.
On this special occasion of everyone’s favorite superstar “Rajinikanth” here we bring glimpse of his wide angled life journey as how bus conductor turned into a Superstar in Rajini’s way till now.
Rajinikanth was born on December 12, 1949 and belongs to Marathi family his father was a police constable and mother was a house wife. His original name is Shivaji Rao Gaekwad.
He completed his primary education from “Gavipuram Government Kannada Model Primary School”. After the age of 6, he was enrolled to Acharya Patasala in Bangalore where he completed his schooling till intermediate. During his school phase he spent his lot of time in acting and participated in various plays.
In 1981, He got married to Latha Rangachari. The Couple have two daughters Aishwarya Rajinikanth and Soundarya Rajinikanth.
Before stepping into the film industry, he had done all kinds of odd jobs including carpenter, coolie and bus conductor for Karnataka state transport corporation in Bangalore.
He enrolled to Madras Film Institute for acting classes there, during his acting classed he performed various plays and stage show. There Rajinikanth met Tamil film director K. Balachander, who gave him first chance to enter into the film industry.
In 1975, Rajinikanth made debut in Apoorva Raagangal directed by K. Balachander. He is famous for his spectaculous acting, his unique style and action in his film as he performed numerous roles throughout his career.
And now he became a mega superstar of Bollywood and Tamil film Industry, Everybody knows him for his greatness; he has performed in over 150 films. He has also performed in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and English movies. His films are rolling out across the globe. His upcoming film is 2.0 which is going to be released in 2017.
Rajinikanth is also a winner of prestigious Padma Bhushan in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2016 for his contributions towards the arts. So in every way he is fulfilled with greatness and uniqueness. We wish him once again a very Happy Birthday and good luck.
