Kapil Sharma had sued a journalist and hurled abuses on Twitter accusing him and publishing fake news,i.e., focused on him.
As it seems the troubles for Kapil do not seem to lessen. First, it was the report of his comeback show to go off-air and now his multiple angry tweets at a journalist.
In a complaint registered by Sharma, the subject read, “Threat to extort and harassment” by a news agency on the “instance of ex-managers” to cause “mental and emotional suffering.”
On April 5 his fans were left bemused after a few abusive posts surfaced on his Twitter page.
The actor-comedian previously said his account has been hacked. However, the comedian decided to be honest with his followers. He posted a tweet saying his account wasn’t hacked & it was him who posted all those tweets adding that his PR team deleted the tweets.
His earlier tweets were focused on blackbuck poaching case. He took the side of Salman Khan asking the media not to make it negative.
He then went on to accuse media of taking money for such news, and then specifically targeted a journalist of a web portal who had been reporting the cancellation of his shoots.
It’s been only three episodes that the show has aired. The channel has been left with no choice but to telecast the old episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show.
The show in itself was launched on March 25, Family Time with Kapil Sharma. It has received a mix response from its viewers. While fans enjoyed his interaction with the audience and his jokes, the game show format found less connection. Though it opened to good numbers, with no fresh episodes, the ratings are bound to dip in the coming week.
