Padmavati: Maharashtra CM gives police security to Sanjay Leela Bhansali

In the recent development, Maharashtra Chief Minister  Devendra Fadnavis has provided the police security to the filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, over amid controversy on his forthcoming movie Padmavati.

It was reported that the several panels have expressed disagreement over the forthcoming movie Padmavati, as the movie’s content holds distortion of facts.

Following the controversy,  Rajput groups and Mewar Royals have also threatened to stop the release of the movie.

Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Javed Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, Karan Johar, Sidharth Malhotra came in support to be filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

On behalf of the film fraternity, filmmaker Ashoke Pandit said in a statement, “We have no words to express our gratitude for providing police protection to our esteemed member”.

The level of security was provided to the Indian film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is still not clear.

It was further added, “We commend your assurance to keep law and order in control. That speaks volumes about the efficiency of your staff and the police”.

The cast of the movie Padmavati includes Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh.

The movie is set to be released on December 1.
