Veteran actress Geeta Kapoor, who was recently in the news after his son, had allegedly abandoned her at the SRV Hospital in Goregaon, Mumbai.

In the recent development, Producer Ashoke Pandit and Ramesh Taurani who helped the yesteryear actress in clearing her hospital bills which came to Rs 1.5 lakh, has now arranged a new home for her in a Jeevan Asha Old-age home in Andheri, Mumbai.

When asked about the incident, Pakeezah actress Geeta Kapoor replied, “He used to beat me up as I did not approve of his philandering ways. He would give me food once in four days, and sometimes, even lock me up for several days. I was not ready to go to an old-age home, that’s why he planned all this. He deliberately kept me hungry and I fell ill. Then, he got me admitted and fled”.

After making the arrangement for the actress in the old aged home, Ashoke Pandit moved to Twitter and posted, “Relieved after #GeetaKapoor Ji is shifted to #JeevanAsha old age home, Andheri (W). She is smiling & soon will be absolutely fine”.

However, Police has registered a case against Geeta Kapoor’s children.
