In a recent buzz, the Maharashtra government has told the Bombay High Court that actor Sanjay Dutt can be sent back to the jail if found any rules have been violated on Thursday.

The Bollywood actor has completed his five-year jail term in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case and was released in February 2016.

Justice Jadhav said in a statement, “How did the jail authorities ascertain good behavior and conduct within two months of the convict surrendering? Normally the superintendent of jail would not even forward the applications. The authorities would throw out the application”.

It was reported that the bench has asked the Maharashtra government to file a detailed affidavit within two weeks.

Sanjay Dutt has been granted parole for 90 days in December 2013 and again for 30 days.
