AB De Villiers stole the show not just with the bat but also with his excellent athleticism as Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs in a high scoring game at the M Chinnaswamy stadium, Bangalore.

Colin De Grandhomme 40(17) late touches Sarfaraz Khan’s 22(8) cameo helped RCB post a 200+ total. Rashid Khan picked three wickets while Siddarth Kaul scalped two wickets.
In reply, SRH started off with Alex Hales 37(24) playing controlled innings with the skipper Kane Williamson who scored 81 runs off just 42 balls that included 5 sixes and seven fours. AB De Villiers took a Superman sort of catch to remove Hales that was going for a six.

Manish Pandey scored 62 runs off just 38 balls but the team fell short by 14 runs in the last over. SRH managed 203 runs 204 for the loss of 3 wickets in their 20 overs. Sarfaraz Khan defended 20 runs in the last over.
Undoubtedly, ABD was adjudged Man of the Match. The win keeps RCB in the hunt for the knock-outs.
In today’s match, Delhi Daredevils will play Chennai Super Kings at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium, Delhi. CSK has already qualified in the playoffs and will be eyeing to get to the top of the points table while DD is placed at the bottom of the league table.
