Indian cricketer and right-handed batsman, Rohit Sharma slammed his third double century in the 2nd ODI between India and Sri Lanka at Mohali.
It was observed that the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma allegedly took 153 balls to reach his double century and hit 13 fours and 12 sixes in the inning.
With this, Rohit Sharma becomes the first cricketer scored three double centuries in ODIs.
In the year 2014, Sharma scored 264 runs against Sri Lanka in Kolkata.
Sharma told the reporters after losing from Sri Lanka, “We were not up to the mark with the bat. 70-80 runs more and it would have been a different ball game. It is important to thrive in these conditions and come out good. It is an eye-opener for all of us”.
