India beat England by 246 runs in 2nd test series

India once again had an outstanding performance in Visakhapatnam against England. India routed England by 246 runs and leads the series by 1-0 in the five-match series.

Indian bowlers, once again performed tremendously to bowl their team to massive 246-run win against England in the 2nd Test series held in Visakhapatnam. This is India’s second biggest win over England in terms of runs.

India had set a target of 405 runs for England but they lost wickets at frequent intervals; bowled out in the last day of second innings at 158 runs.

India picked up five wickets in the first half and needed only three wickets in the remaining two sessions to win the match. In the second over just after the lunch, spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took wicket of Zafar Ansari and after two over’s, Jayant Yadav picked up two wickets in two balls to conclude the series.

Team India performed very well, Indian captain Virat Kohli won the title of “Man of the match” as he had scored 167 runs in the first innings and 81 runs in the second. Ravichandran Ashwin was the most successful Indian bowler as he took eight wickets in total.

Just to inform to our readers, that the third test match series will be held in Mohali.
