India vs Australia, 1st Test : India lose by 333 runs on Day 3

India lost the first Test against Australia by 333 runs on Day three in Pune.

India failed to chase the massive victory target of 441, as visitors bowled out host team in just 107 runs in second innings.

O’Keefe’s six wicket haul in both the innings helped Australia to clinch the triumph in first test match.

Not only this, Australian skipper Steve Smith, scored 109 runs in 202 bowls in the second innings and marked his fifth century in five successive Tests against India.

The 333 win was the visitor’s first Test win in India since October 2004.

With this victory Australia is leading the ongoing series by 1-0. Next match is going to take place at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on March 4.
