Indian badminton star PV Sindhu has won the third Korea Open Super Series title while defeating Nozomi Okuhara by 22-20, 11-21, 21-18 in Seoul on Sunday.
In a heart touching move, the Indian shuttler PV Sindhu has reportedly her victory to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday.
The Indian badminton player has reportedly defeated world champion Nozomi Okuhara of Japan to clinch the women’s singles title of Korea Open Super Series.
PM Narendra Modi moved to Twitter to congratulate the badminton star, PV Sindhu.
The official account of PM Modi wrote, “Congratulations to PV Sindhu on emerging victorious in the Korea Open Super Series. India is immensely proud of her accomplishment: PM”.
While responding to the tweet, the badminton champion PV Sindhu moved to twitter and wrote, “I dedicate this Victory for our beloved Prime Minister Shri Modiji on his Birthday for his untiring and selfless service to our Country”.

Although, Badminton star PV Sindhu lost the World Championships final in Glasgow in Okuhara last month.
The Indian athlete managed to win the Korea Open Super Series title in one hour and 24 minutes battle and become the first Indian woman to win in Korea.
