Saina Nehwal loses her first match, PV Sindhu reaches quarterfinals in China Open Badminton 2016

China Open Badminton 2016 is still in progress as the competition will keep running until 20th November which will highlight a portion of the top-seeded badminton stars.

London Olympic medalist, Saina Nehwal did a comeback after going through her knee surgery prior leaving for Rio Olympics. She brought the mischief through games before she made an early exit by losing her second match.

Saina Nehwal had lost her opening experience against Thailand’s Porntip Buranaprasertsuk 16-21, 21-19, 14-21 in China Open in Fuzhou on Wednesday. Nehwal last played amid the Rio Olympics where she had lost the match in the second round.

On the other hand, if we talk about another participant who had taken part in the event Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, the runner-up of  Rio Olympics this year has won second match beating her rival Beiwen Zhang of USA with an 18-21, 22-20, 21-17 scoreline at China Open Badminton tournament on Thrusday.
