Indian badminton star Kidambi Srikanth outclasses olympic champion Chen Long of China to clinch Australian Open Super Series men’s singles badminton final in Sydney on Sunday. Today Indian shuttler Srikanth secured his second in a row Super Series title.
The world no. 11 Kidambi Srikanth won in straight games 22-20, 21-16 in the men’s singles final to win his career’s fourth Super Series title. This is Srikanth’s second in a row title triumph in seven days after he won the Indonesian Open Super Series Premier last Sunday.
The Badminton Association of India (BAI) president Himanta Biswa Sarma announced a cash award of Rs 5 lakh for Srikanth after he lifted the title.
