Supreme Court appointed EX- CAG Vinod Rai as the new BCCI Chief

On Monday, Supreme Court appointed EX- CAG Vinod Rai as the new chief of BCCI, while Indian women’s team captain Diana Edulji, Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC) official Vikram Limaye, and historian Ramachandra Guha appointed as administrators of BCCI.

The Supreme Court bench headed by Justice Deepak Mishra also ordered the CEO of BCCI Rahul Johri to report the panel of administrators.

Vikram Limaye along with BCCI joint-secretary Amitabh Choudhary will be representing in the next month’s International Cricket Council meeting.

Earlier this month, Supreme Court had removed Anurag Thakur from the post of BCCI President along with Ajay Shirke who served as BCCI Secretary.
