Hasin Jahan, wife of team India player Mohd. Shami has accused her husband of domestic violence and extramarital affairs.
She posted screenshots of text messages as evidence on Facebook. It included conversations along with photographs and phone numbers exchanged between Shami and other women
According to the media, Jahan told that she found one of Shami’s phones hidden under the driver seat of his car on which she found out the chats. She also alleged that she was tortured by him and his family members for more than two years with attempts to try to kill her.
Jahan plans to take a legal action against Shami and his family. She had earlier lodged a complaint at a police station in Uttar Pradesh in January.
The 27-year-old cricketer took to Twitter to clarify his side of the story.

Ye jitna bhi news hamara personal life ke bare may chal raha hai, ye sab sarasar jhut hai, ye koi bahut bada humare khilap sajish hai or ye mujhe Badnam karne or mera game kharab karne ka kosis ki ja rahi hai.”
Following the news, Shami was withheld by the BCCI. His name was not there on the list of contract players released by the BCCI on Wednesday. An official from the Indian cricket body said that his name was held back owing to the charges leveled by his wife.
Shami has played 30 Tests for India picking 110 wickets so far. He has appeared in 50 ODIs and 7 T20Is. The inform bowler produced his career performance of 5/28 in the last test he appeared against SA.
Mohd. Shami married Jahan in 2014 and has a daughter named Aaira Shami.
