Anil Ambani on Friday, has announced the launch of a new ‘RGC India’ app for Indians to make international calls. It is termed as the Reliance Global Call service, the app is available for all pre-paid and post-paid customers.
An introductory offer has also been announced by Reliance Global Call under which customers can avail talk time worth Rs. 200 on sign-up with just Rs. 100.The calling charges are low as Rs 1.4 per minute. The service allows calls to be made to the US, UK, Canada, UAE and 200 other destinations globally.
Customers can register for the RGC service via the website and download the smartphone app for Android via Google play or ios via the App Store.
“The service enables customers on any telecom network in India to have seamless, instant and convenient access to their loved ones around the globe,” Gurdeep Singh, CEO of RCOM’s Consumer Business, said in a statement. He further continued, “Developed for discerning customers to cater to their International Calling needs, the ‘RGC India’ app enables direct-dialing of international contacts, without the need to enter toll-free number or PIN numbers”.
The Reliance Global Call service is available to all mobile phone and land-line users of the country including prepaid and post-paid subscribers on the networks of Reliance, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Tata, Aircel and MTS.
