The world’s largest Internet Giant Google has reportedly acquired Senosis Health, which is a Seattle-based health monitoring startup on Tuesday.
The American multinational technology company has seen the future in the startup which turns smartphones into medical devices and collects various health stats.
It was reported that the Senosis Health app helps to measure, diagnose, and manage diseases.
The app was founded by the University of Washington Professor Shwetak Patel.
It was reported that to measure hemoglobin level the app uses the smartphone’s flash to counts from a user’s finger.
It was learnt that this will be the tech company’s first move to step into health care facilities.
