Indian-born Sriram Krishnan, who was previously associated with Facebook and Snap has been hired by Micro-blogging website Twitter as its Senior Director of Product.
While confirming the news, Sriram Krishnan tweeted, “I’m going to be joining Twitter and become a part of #theflock to work with the fantastic product team there”.
While Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey moved to twitter and expressed his excitement after hiring Sriram Krishnan as its Senior Director of Product and wrote, “So so so so so so excited to have you Sriram! Welcome home”.
The popular figure in the Silicon Valley has worked with major tech companies which include Yahoo, Microsoft, Facebook, and Snap.
Earlier, Krishnan reportedly quit his job in Facebook to join Snap Inc.
Sriram Krishnan will be joining Twitter from 2 October.
While in Facebook he worked for “Facebook Audience Network”.
Krishnan left Facebook in the year 2016 and joined Snapchat’s parent company Snap to help lead the advertising efforts.
It was reported that he would be made responsible for a lot of features inside the app including direct messaging, search, and timeline.
The noted product executive has focused on ad technology, in further development Sriram Krishnan will be working on consumer product role.
