The Chinese electronics and software company Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship smartphone as Redmi 5A in India.
Manu Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi and Managing Director, Xiaomi India said in a statement, “Offering up to eight days of standby time, Redmi 5A is a successor to the hugely-popular Redmi 4A”.
The price tag of the latest flagship phone comes with the price tag of Rs 5,999 for 2GB RAM+ 16GB storage model, where on the other hand 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version will cost Rs 6,999.
The lately launched smartphone comes will go on sale from December 7 on Flipkart, Mi Store, and offline retail stores.
The device comes with 16GB or 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared, 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port.
The display of the smartphone comes as 5-inch HD (1280×720) screen.
The latest smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 425 SoC clocked at the 1.4GHz processor.
The phone will run on the Android Nougat.
If you are a selfie lover then this smartphone comes with a 5MP front-facing selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. On the other hand, the rear camera comes with the 13-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The smartphone comes with 3,000 mAh battery which offers 8-day power backup.
