Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most famous festivals of Hindu and is celebrated among the entire country with full enthusiasm.

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with loads of excitement among Maharashtra.Lord Ganesh worshipped foremost among all the gods and is considered as the god of health, wisdom, peace, and prosperity.

On this occasion, people place the idol of Lord Ganesha in their homes for 10 days and decorated it with various senses.

It is celebrated in the month of Bhadra in the mid-August and ended in the month of September.

On 11th Day Lord Ganesha immersed into the water with full fun includes dancing, singing, colors and more.

This immersion indicates by to the lord Ganesha towards their journey to Kailash and takes away all the misfortunes with him and share his blessing amongst all his worshippers.

We also called Ganesh Chaturthi as Vinayak Chaturthi and this tradition was first started by Chhatrapati Shivaji.

Here are few things which you should avoid after placing Ganesha idol at your home:

1.Avoid the use of garlic and Onion.

2.Whatever you will eat offer it to Bappa First as he is your priority guest for 10 days and you have to pamper him.

3.Never Leave Bappa alone at home.One person should be there at home along with him.

4.Do not involve in any kind of Gambling game until Bappa is at your home.

5.Avoid Sexual Activities.

6.Say No to Meat, Egg, and Alcohol for 10 days.
