The year 2016 have proved to be lucky for the couples as it is appearing like the “season of weddings” as most known faces be it Bollywood or Telly world or any other celebrities are getting hitched this year.
As all of us are aware of the fact that Cricketer Yuvraj Singh is getting hitched this year with his girlfriend, model-turned-actress Hazel Keech on 30th November at a Gurdwara in Fatehgarh Sahib in Chandigarh.
So now in the latest buzz which is coming out is Yuvraj Singh father, Punjabi actor and former cricketer Yograj Singh has confirmed that he will not be attending his son’s marriage which is going to be held in few days.
In an interview with leading daily Yuvraj Singh’s father Mr.Yograj Singh revealed that he will be only attending the Mehndi ceremony which is going to take place on 29th November 2016.
Interacting with the leading daily he said-
“It is my misfortune that I will not be attending the traditional wedding of my son … I had told Yuvraj’s mother that I will not attend the wedding if it is solemnized at any guru or dera sect or involves any religious guru. It’s destiny, I will not go. I only believe in God and not religious gurus”.
Adding to this he said-
“I had told Yuvraj’s mother that I will not attend the wedding if it is solemnized at any Gurdwara or Dera sect, or involves any religious guru. I only believe in God and not religious gurus. I do not want to cause any discomfort to anybody”.
On being asked about attending the Mehndi ceremony Mr.Singh said-
“This will be the only function that I will attend and not the others planned at Delhi and Goa in early December as I am busy. My son called me with much respect and my name is on the invites”
On clearing the tattle about her ex-wife Shabnam he said-
“I had even asked Yuvraj, if his mother was comfortable or not with my joining the wedding, but he humbly requested me to be a part of the function.”
Be as it may, this time is really special for the lovebirds as they are putting a one step forward to take their relationship to the next level and the arrangements for the wedding are going in a full swing.
