Exotic Red Velvet Cake

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1½ cups sugar

2 eggs

2 tablespoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 tablespoon red food coloring

1 cup buttermilk

Cream and Cheese for Frosting

How to prepare

  1. Pre Heat oven to 350°F and 325°F for dark or nonstick pans. Lightly oil bottom and sides of 13×9-inch pan or two 9-inches round cake pans.
  2. Take a large bowl, add the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. In another large bowl, beat together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vinegar, and vanilla.
  3. Using a hand blender, mix both the mixtures until a smooth batter is formed.
  4. Pour the batter into greased pan or divide the batter two 9-inches round cake pans and bake around 20-25.
  5. After baking take it out from oven and gently place it on the plate.
  6. Take a large bowl, mix together whipped cream, cheese, sugar and milk until you get smooth texture and Frost   top of the cake or fill and frost cake layers. Keep it aside in a refrigerator for while after some time your red     velvet cake is ready.

Eggless Plum Cake

Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour

1 1/4 cups Sugar

300 grams Soft Unsalted Butter

Half teaspoon Baking Soda

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder

1 teaspoon Cardamom powder

2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Dry Fruits: Almonds, cashews, dried plums and raisins.

How to prepare

  1. Take large bowl Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder and keep aside for a while.
  2. In another large bowl, beat together butter, sugar, vanilla until it gets smooth creamy texture.
  3. Using a hand blender, mix both the mixtures until a smooth batter is formed.
  4. Now add dry fruits to batter and mix it well.
  5. Pour the batter into greased pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. After baking take it out from oven and gently place it on the plate and enjoy your cake.

Carrot Cake
