Mumbai stray dogs turn blue in color due to industrial waste

Mumbai stray dogs have seen to be turned in blue color after drinking the water from Indian river which is used to dump the waste.

Due to the extreme level of pollution into the local rivers, the dogs started turning to be blue in color as they swim there and search for the food.

Kasadi river of Navi Mumbai linked with Indian river whose water is not fit for human as well as for animal consumption as the waste of various industries has been disposed of there.

Now the animal protection officers urge to stopped the companies for dumping waste into the rivers as there is an increase in the number of dogs who turned out to be blue in color.

As per the source till date, 5 dogs have been reported whose furs tuned out to be blue from white.

A complaint has been registered in MPCB regarding the same as animals are suffering
