Barcelona terror attack: At least 13 people killed after van rammed into people

A van rammed into the crowd, where at least 13 people lost their lives and more than 100 were severely injured in Barcelona, Spain on Thursday afternoon.

It was reported that ISIS has claimed responsibility for the deadliest attack in the Barcelona city of Spain.

Josep Lluis Trapero, a senior police official said in a statement, “It was clearly a terror attack, intended to kill as many people as possible”.

Although, Police officials said that they have arrested two suspects following the attack, the hunt for the driver is still on.

The Police officials have claimed that the number of deaths toll might rise.

Carles Puigdemont, president of Catalonia’s government told the media, “London, Brussels, Paris and some other European cities have had the same experience. It’s been Barcelona’s turn today”.
