Famous British Pop Star George Michael passed away on Sunday at his home in Goring, Oxfordshire, England.
Michael Lippman confirmed about his death by saying “It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period”.
George Michael was born in East Finchley, London. Michael, 53, gained fame with the 1980s duo Wham and sold more than 100 million records globally and later he became even more successful with his solo act.
He was famous in the era of 1980s and 1990s for his post-disco dance-pop style and with best-selling songs such as “Last Christmas”, “Careless whisper”, “Wake me up before you Go-Go” and many more. Michael made his solo debut album in 1987 “Faith” of which more than 10 million copies was sold.
In spite of his brilliant musical journey, his life was full of controversies. In 2005, his first documentary “A Different Story”was released which was based on his career and personal life and in 2016 he announced his second documentary “Freedom” which is not released yet, as it was scheduled to be released in March 2017.
