NASA has announced the discovery of seven earth-like planets orbiting a dwarf star named Trappist-1 on Wednesday.
The newly found solar system is 39 light years or 235 trillion miles away from earth.
TRAPPIST-1 is an ultracool dwarf star, which is located in the constellation Aquarius. It is 10 times smaller and 2.5 times cooler than the sun.
The groups of international Scientists have found 3 terrestrial planets in the habitable zone of a star.
NASA also revealed that there could be the possibility of liquid water and life on newly found planets but chances are highest on the planets which are in the habitable zone.
Scientists also believe that planets orbits in the super tight circles around the star and due to this planets may don’t have days and nights.
