As per the recent reports, Pakistan‘s Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has been relieved of his duties after he failed to appear in front of the court in connection with corruption charges.

It was reported that the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has been relieved of his duties on Wednesday from his three roles.

It was learned that the matter was discussed by the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Sources said that he would remain as a federal minister.

A notification issued by the Cabinet Division reads, “pleased to allow leave of absence to Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs, with immediate effect in terms of sub-section (1) of the section of Federal Ministers and Ministers for State Salaries, Allowances and Privileges Act 1975”.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is receiving a medical treatment for a heart condition in London.

A notification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat reads, “The prime minister has been pleased to allow leave of absence to Ishaq Dar… with immediate effect”.

The arrest warrant was issued against him after he missed multiple court appearances in connection with corruption charges.
