US Vice President Mike Pence to visit India

In the recent development, US Vice President Mike Pence said in his statement that he is planning to visit India very soon.

During 42nd Annual Leadership Summit of US-India Business Council, Mike Pence quoted, “I told him… one of my ambitions was to be the first Governor from Indiana to visit India”.

Adding further to this, “In fact, I told him when I was governor of Indiana, one of my ambitions was to be the first governor from Indiana to visit India”.

While addressing tot the top business executives of the United States,  Pence expressed his views about he is really enthusiastic about the future ties between the two countries.

When asked about the invitation given by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit India, he said, “I was very humbled when Prime Minister Modi extended a personal invitation to me to represent the United States. And we’re already making plans to take it up on his invitation”.

Pence also mentioned that the US in planning to collaborate with India on the topics like terrorism and commerce.

Lastly, Pence said that US relationship between India is an important strategic relationship in the 21st century.
