Regional Rapid Transit System has launched number of projects earlier also, which helps inhassle free connectivity to nearby cities. NCR Transport Corporation has passed the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Rapid Rail Transit Corridor ( RRTC ) which will reduce travel time between Delhi and Meerut to 60 minutes by a normal train.
There are number of people who are working in Delhi NCR and commutes on daily basis from Meerut. Delhi – Meerut Rapid Train will run with a speed of 160kmh over stretch of 92 Km corridor and it will be running over double-line standard gauges in which 60 Km will an elevated viaduct and 30 km will be underground.
This Regional Rapid Transit corridor proposed by The National Capital Region Planning Board ( NCRPB ), with aim to boost the connectivity and reduce dependence of commuters on road based transportation within Delhi and NCR.
Corridor will originate from Sarai Kale Khan Bus terminal pass through Delhi, Ghaziabad, Modipuram and other Meerut regions. For realty developers it will create opportunities to develop new residential projects as there are lots of area in between to Delhi and Meerut.
Delhi – Meerut Rapid Train Project is expected to be completed by 2024. Once this project completed, it will boost the demand of new residential and affordable housing projects nearby stations or in between areas to Meerut and Delhi, according to real estate developers.
With the emergence of Regional Rapid Transit System connectivity to nearby cities has become so convenient and connectivity is one of the major aspects while buying any property.
