Assembly Elections 2017: PM Narendra Modi and Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal Urges to Vote

As the first test of Assembly elections, 2017 began today with Punjab and Goa polls, following this Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged voters, especially our generation next to vote.

PM Modi took to twitter to urge people, he wrote “Urging people of Punjab & Goa to turn out in record numbers & vote in the Assembly elections. I particularly urge my young friends to vote.”

In a bid to row, Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also requested people to actively participate in the polls and choose the best for their state. He tweeted “Today is election day. Everyone must go to vote and take people of your village along with you and vote for honest politics.”

The single-phase elections in the two states, Goa will witness a battle between the BJP, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party whereas in Punjab will witness four-way battle including the BJP, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party and Akali Dal.
