PM Modi throw a masterstroke towards the nation by demolishing Rs1,000 and Rs 500 Notes. A big shock which has hit the citizens of India is the notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 will be of no use from today’s midnight.

Prime Minister Modi announced that Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 notes will be discontinued from midnight onwards. The Rs 500 and 1000 notes must be saved to at post office and banks by 30th December.
He said that this move was an essential fight against “the disease of black money and corruption.”As this move is a chance for everyone participating in the fight against corruption and black money. Bank will be shut on 9th November. ATM will be closed from 9th November to 10th November on account of changing new currencies.
There will be no change in any other form of currency exchange be it cheque, DD, payment via credit or debit cards etc,” Modi said.
“On November 9, all banks will remain closed for public work. Notes of Rs 2000 and Rs 500 will be circulated soon, RBI has decided to limit the notes with higher value,” Modi said.
He said the fundamental purpose for pulverizing Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 since they are for the most part utilized as a part black money and corruption. Another arrangement of Rs. 500 and Rs. 2,000 cash notes will be brought into new form.
“Currency notes of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 will be just paper with no value,” the PM says.
“People can deposit notes of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 in their banks from November 10 till December 30, 2016,” says Shri Narendra Modi.

- Go to the bank with Rs 500 and Rs1000 notes and store them .

- Notes are still acknowledged at Airports/Central Govt shops and all Govt workplaces
