BSF detects tunnel on Indo Pak border in J&K’s Samba district

BSF find tunnel originating from Pakistan extends along the International Border in Samba district of Jammu Kashmir.

During an anti-tunneling operation, BSF patrolling team carried out a search operation of area yesterday and discovered approximately 20-meter long tunnel at the international border in Ramgarh sector of Jammu & Kashmir’s Samba district.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of BSF, Dharmendra Pareek while addressing to reporters said: “The tunnel was yet to be completed and was detected well in advance before it could reach the fence.”

He also asserted “The efforts of the BSF troops deployed in multi-tiered counter infiltration grid once again resulted in neutralizing designs of terrorists working in connivance with Pak Rangers.”
